Mow slightly higher than you were earlier in the year, and mow often enough so that you remove no more than 1/3 of the grass stem.
You’ll want to create your own bespoke lawn care schedule depending on location and conditions, but this will provide you a great start. I actually only fertilize my own lawn 2 times a year. The mid summer application should only be done if your lawn is properly irrigated. Do not spray to control weeds when temperatures are warm.
