Despite the smaller physical size and lower total payload capacity the Paramount MyT incorporates virtually every feature found in the larger MEII and MX mounts from Bisque and uses the identical. Dennis di Cicco who is the editor is chief of Sky and Telescope magazine in his November 2015 review of the MyT said I hesitated making an unconditional recommendation at the beginning of this review. Weighing only 34 pounds without the counterweight shaft attached the MyT certainly qualifies as a portable mount but theres more to the story than just weight.
