Software Center Force Update. If the computer is connected to WiFi on-campus or located off-campus a VPN connection is required for the computer to get its updates. Within Control Panel select Configuration Manager.
Click on Software Inventory Cycle click on Run Now OK. Just input the computername you want to trigger the install on and for SupName you need to Input the KB-name for example KB2134454 or if you want to install all of the available updates just input All. Force Software Center to re-download appsupdates.
Click Machine Policy Retrieval Evaluation Cycle and then click Run Now.
My goal is to find a way to force the client with Software Center installed to see the updates we made in the application in CM. In some cases the available software list within Software Center is incomplete or outdated.
